The Tour Flex is out! This is not the Tour de France but Flexeurs of an application
The Tour Flex is actually a software which contains many components, including the library Efflex. AIR is an application to explore the properties and resources Flex. You can explore the engine components Adobe Flex, Adobe AIR and data integration. It is also possible to explore third-party components, effects, skins and more.
It is therefore an interesting application for our development. Note that the application is also available as an Eclipse plugin.

Cocomo is now available on Labs! It is a platform to introduce "social skills in real time 'in your Rich Internet Application (RIA) Flex. Network infrastructure using Adobe, the software allows you to integrate video, chat, VoIP or file sharing in your applications.

Since July 7, the solution OpenSource e-commerce Magento offers an API to access the content of shops Magento. This API supports SOAP and XML RPC and provides access directly to customers, orders and product catalog of a Magento site.
An introduction to API is available here.
This API is interesting to integrate Magento with all third-party applications in business and who must interact with a site ecommerce (ERP, CRM, Logistics, etc. ..)
This API will also develop an interface for a site e-commerce or Full Flex to develop a BackOffice Flex for Magento.

The team at Advanced Flash Components has created a universal mapping component that enables developers Flexd'intégrer easily mapping from any supplier, including Google Maps. Developers Flex / AIR that want to integrate Google Maps in their applications can now uiliser this component greatly facilitates the work of integrating a component mapping.

The component is still in beta version (0.5) and is available for free download.
Note: Advanced Flash Components is also full of other components for Adobe Flex / AIR. I registered for their newsletter to keep you informed

FlexSpy is a Flex component that can be very useful for developers who are learning Flex. A bit like Similar to Firebug or the DOM Inspector in Firefox, FlexSpy allows to explore the properties of visual components for your Flex applications, and modify the properties and styles of these components in real time.
The simplest is that you try on the demo site. You should click on the button at the top right to launch the component FlexSpy.

Well, your Flex application is already in production. But how do you plan to deploy future patches in your code? I mean all the bugs or évloutions specific MXML components or ActionScript classes? Of course, you can recompile the entire application with hundreds of classes to deploy a new version of one of your classes. If you've used Flex, you see that you have the default style composantspar a little too "utilitarian". Perso, I find they lack the visual effects commentary dégrsdé with reflection ...
There is now a solution! Both Flash and UI gurus, Joe Magnani and Jeff Bennett of the Media Innovation Group, have developed a very nice skin by default for all Flex components.
